A commonly used term in the field of education is learning styles. What is meant by learning styles and how can the knowledge of this term help me as a teacher or a parent?
An interesting quote by Ignacio Estrada says: “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”
As simple as these words might appear, thinking deeply in them can take us far beyond the teaching methodologies and approaches that we as educators keep on studying and researching. We come to some essential questions: Is all what we teach, learnt? If not, how much is learnt, then? And why?
The current global tragedy has put learners and educators in a big dilemma. It has taken them a leap further into the future to surpass the crisis via virtual learning. This is great, but the problem lies whether teachers and students are ready for this leap or still need some adjustments?
